 31 /03/2023 Deadline for the First Author to be registered for the congress 

1.- GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL SUBMISSIONS 

 New in GCH2023! 

• The person designated as the First Author of an accepted Abstract will be granted a 15% discount on her/his congress registration. Further instructions will be given in the eventual acceptance email. 

• All abstracts must be uploaded in the designated MyGCH section differentiated by Video, Poster, or Oral Abstract. Documents sent using other methods won't be considered. In order to submit an abstract, you need to hold a free account in MyGCH. If you don't have one yet, click Join MyGCH and follow the steps. 

1) As usual, if the abstract is accepted, the First Author will have to be registered for the congress by the given deadline in order for the work to be published. Failure to meet deadlines will result in exclusion from any presentation or submission for publication. All accepted communications will be published/shared during the GCH2023 International Congress.

2) Technical Requirements:

• Language: All abstracts and communications MUST be in English.
• Abstract submission: All Oral, Poster, and Video Presentations need to submit an abstract. Video Presentations additionally need to submit the presented video.
• Disclosure: The submitting author is responsible for reporting the disclosure information for each named author. Disclosure of all authors is a step that must be completed prior to submission. 
• Scientific nature: Any communication that is more advertising-oriented than scientific in nature will be rejected. 
• IRB (Institutional Review Board) Approval: IRB approval or waiver is required for the submission of clinical research abstracts. You will be required to indicate whether your study has been IRB-reviewed.
• Every communication must cover these areas:

1. Aim: indicate the purpose and objective of the research, the hypothesis that was tested, or a description of the problem being analyzed or evaluated.
2. Method: describe the study period/setting/location, study design, data collection, and methods of analysis used.
3. Results: present as clearly and in as much detail as possible the findings/outcome of the study. Please summarize any specific results.
4. Conclusions: explain the significance of your findings/outcomes and future implications of the results.

3) The Global Congress on Hysteroscopy welcomes VIDEO, ORAL, and POSTER communications in the following categories:

• Submucosal Fibroids & Polyps.
• Hysteroscopy and Fertility.
• Hysteroscopy in Oncology.
• Hysteroscopy; Innovation, Simulation, and Education.
• Hysteroscopy Complications.
• Hysteroscopy and Mullerian anomalies.
• Hysteroscopy and Contraception
• Hysteroscopic Instrumentation.
• Office Hysteroscopy, Vaginoscopy, and Pain Control.
• Other related of similar interest

4)  REMEMBER:  The deadline for submission for Abstracts is Tuesday, 7th March 2023, 11:59:59 p.m. CET. After that, works will no longer be accepted.

 2.- DISCLOSURE PROCEDURE FOR ALL COMMUNICATIONS 

1) Reporting of Disclosures

This process is meant to ensure that anyone who is in a position to control the content of the educational activity has disclosed all relevant financial relationships with any commercial interest (see below for definitions) as it pertains to the content of the presentation. Should it be determined that a conflict of interest exists as a result of a financial relationship you may have, you will be contacted and methods to resolve the conflict will be discussed with you. In addition, full disclosures for all authors must be revealed by a slide at the beginning of the presentation. Failure or refusal to disclose or the inability to resolve the identified conflict may result in the withdrawal of the invitation to participate.

All authors for video/oral presentations are required to disclose ALL financial relationships with commercial interests involved in producing healthcare goods or services, active over the 12 MONTH period preceding the meeting whether or not this relationship is directly related to the material being presented. The abstract submitter must input the disclosure information for each named author prior to submission. Failure to comply with disclosure rules with complete honesty and openness will result in the individual forfeiting his or her right to present at the next congress. The organizing Committee has no issue with industrial affiliation, but they do with failure to disclose that affiliation. The audience MUST be given the tools with which to judge a presentation in light of the author’s interaction with the industry.

2) Commercial Interest

The ACCME defines a “commercial interest” as any proprietary entity producing health care goods or services, with the exemption of non-profit or government organizations and non-healthcare-related companies.

3) Financial relationships

Financial relationships are those relationships in which the individual benefits by receiving a salary, royalty, intellectual property rights, consulting fee, honoraria, ownership interest (e.g., stocks, stock options, or other ownership interest, excluding diversified mutual funds), or other financial benefits. Financial benefits are usually associated with roles such as employment, management position, independent contractor (including contracted research), consulting, speaking and teaching, membership on advisory committees or review panels, board membership, and other activities for which remuneration is received, or expected. Financial relationships of the person involved in the congress include the financial relationships of a spouse or partner.
